Wonji Kim-Ozim taught at the Hochschule für Musik in Vienna and Hochschule für Musik in Bern as assistant to Prof. Igor Ozim from 1996 to June 2003, and has been at the Mozarteum University since October 2003, where she has been teaching her own violin class since her habilitation at the Mozarteum in 2019.
In the summer semester of 2011 she taught as a guest professor at the University of Art in Graz and from 2018 to 2019 at the G. Mahler Private University. She is the 1st prizewinner of several national competitions and is also a prizewinner of the Federation of Migros Cooperatives. She has performed as a soloist with the Seoul Symphony Orchestra, the Bern Symphony Orchestra, the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Fedosejev, the Zurich Chamber Orchestra conducted by Howard Griffiths, the Hungarian National Chamber Orchestra, the German Chamber Academy Neuss, the Slovenian Philharmonic and performed at the Sandor Veress Festival in the Zurich Tonhalle and at the "Tous les Violons du Monde" festival under the patronage of Sir Yehudi Menuhin in the Casino Bern. As a chamber musician, she has performed at festivals including Herbsttöne Salzburg, Mattseer Diabellisommer, Ljubljana Festival and Thomas Mann Festival in Lithuania, to name a few. Wonji Kim, born in Seoul, South Korea, received her first lessons from Prof. Li-Song. From 1989 to 1991 she took private lessons with Prof. Max Rostal. She then studied at the Bern Conservatory in the soloist class of Prof. Igor Ozim, where she passed her soloist diploma with distinction in 1994.
