Georg Steinschaden founded and directed the Pre-College Salzburg for highly gifted young musicians* at the University Mozarteum. He is president and artistic director of the Austrian Master Classes, was a member of the "Logos Trio Salzburg" and also leads a piano class at the Musikum Salzburg. For several years he was chairman of the advisory board of Prima la Musica in Salzburg as well as a member of the federal advisory board. With the "Steinschaden Trio Salzburg" he played concerts internationally and performed with ensembles such as the Eichendorff Quintet Vienna and the Amati-Quartet Verona as well as the mezzo-soprano Angelika Kirchschlager. Since 1994 Georg Steinschaden is also active in cultural management.
