Claudia Sendlinger studied German, English and speech training in Regensburg. She also completed a practical semesters at Columbia University New York and Juilliard School New York in the departments of acting. From 1999 to 2015 she taught speech training at the Munich University of Music and Theater (school music) and at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts (drama). During and after her training, she was working with Kristin Linklater's methods and gestural speaking. In 2015 she was a mentee in the Excellence Program of the Berlin University of the Arts/Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art for women in artistic university teaching. Since 2001 she has been coaching actors in various German-speaking theaters in their vocal development and text work and develops speaking choirs for productions. She teaches singers in German phonetics at various opera houses. Her work was shown at the Schauspiel Frankfurt, Staatstheater and Staatsoper Nürnberg, Theater Münster and Nationaltheater Mannheim, Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz Munich and the Theater in der Josefstadt Vienna as well as at the Salzburg Festival in 2017, 2019 and 2020. Since 2015 she has been working as a senior lecturer in speaking training in drama at the Mozarteum University Salzburg.
