The pianist of Spanish-German descent was born in Montreal, Canada. She received her first piano lessons at the age of six with Diana Lawton in Ottawa. She studied at the University of Victoria with Bruce Vogt and at the Mozarteum University Salzburg with Christoph Lieske, where she completed her concert diploma. Afterwards she studied song accompaniment with Hartmut Höll, Anthony Spiri and Donald Sulzen and graduated with honors in 2004. In addition, she participated in master classes by Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Jakob Latin, Oleg Maisenberg, Tatjana Nikolaeva, Imre Rohmann, Karl-Ulrich Schnabel and Breda Zakotnik. She also received private lessons from Elisabeth Schwarzkopf.  

As a soloist and accompanist she has been heard in Canada, Spain, France, England, Austria, Germany, Scotland, Slovenia and Luxembourg. From 2002 to 2003 she was a lecturer at the Mozarteum University Salzburg and performed in the vocal classes of Horiana Branisteanu, Heiner Hopfner, Martha Sharp, Kjellaug Tesaker and Gudrun Volkert. Since 2002 she has been the accompanist in the private singing classes of KS Grace Bumbry and KS Hanna Ludwig and since 2004 she has worked regularly with Grace Bumbry to prepare her recitals and international concert tours.  

She has many years of teaching experience as a singing coach and piano teacher for children and adults. In summer 2007 she worked as an accompanist for the Salzburg College in the singing classes of Patricia Wise and Dominic Cossa. In summer 2004 she worked in Aberdeen, Scotland, for the production of Mozart's Magic Flute at the International Youth Festival and in 2000 in Salzburg, in the Emperor of Atlantis by Viktor Ullmann, under the direction of Elisabeth Fuchs. In 2003 she was a finalist at the International Schubert Song Competition and Modern in Graz and in 2001 at the Paper de Música Chamber Music Competition in Barcelona.
