Elisabeth Wieland studied music education and instrumental music education at the Mozarteum University Salzburg as well as applied knowledge management at the FH in Burgenland.
From 2001 to 2002 she taught at the BAKIP Salzburg and from 2010 to 2016 she was administrator and departmental coordinator at the BORG Bad Hofgastein, where she has been teaching music and instrumental music education with a focus on choral conducting since 2002. From 2006 to 2007 she led the course on the use of learning platforms in class and from 2008 to 2010 she organized and led three Austria-wide congresses for music and e-learning.
With the school choir she received an award at the Landesjugendsingen (2013), the 3rd place at “Die Große Chance der Chöre” (2015) and the 1st prize at the talent competition “Falco goes School” (2016). In 2016 she received the “Music Teacher Award” from the State School Council for Salzburg.
She works as a university assistant at the Mozarteum University Salzburg.
