17 goals for a substainable developement - SGDs

In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the "Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development" and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). All 195 member states of the United Nations have committed to implementing the SDGs, including Austria. Achieving the goals requires the cooperation of a wide range of social actors, and universities play an important role in their implementation.
The 17 SDGs form the core of the 2030 Agenda and a new political framework for action to counteract social inequalities as well as climate change and to ensure quality education. The SDGs form the orientation framework for the sustainable orientation of activities at the Mozarteum University Salzburg.
