Internal Audit Department

The Internal Audit Department is under the direct control of the Deputy Chancellor for Resources and is the first point of contact with the Chancellor’s office. The Department reports on devolved projects and undertakes vulnerability assessments and audits throughout the organisation. In addition the core tasks of the executive include the evaluation and optimization of business processes as well as the further development of the internal control and risk management systems of the Salzburg Mozarteum University. The definition, introduction and implementation of methods and standards have an important role to play here. The Internal Audit Department thus has primarily an advisory and support function.
