Only pianists, organists or harpsichord players who meet the highest requirements as regards the technical command of their instrument and in the thorough intellectual analysis of musical works can succeed on international concert stages. Of highest priority in teaching the instrument is to give graduates the ability to face competition. Furthermore, depending on the demands of the market, the curriculum offers students the possibility of gaining a qualification for other spheres of piano playing such as chamber music, the interpretation of lieder, as a répétiteur, playing the fortepiano or as a piano teacher.
